The lost art of towel origami

This advert is located in and around Cheltenham, London

Advert Description

Oxfam Bookshop Cheltenham The origins of the intriguing art of towel origami are disputed. One school claims that the ancient Egyptians invented it to amuse Cleopatra, who would regularly spend three or four hours in the bath. Another theory comes from the frivolous '20s, when mutinous passengers on a luxury cruise modelled their towels to compensate for the lack of chocolates on their pillows at night. While the real truth remains a mystery, what is important today is that this unique craft has been rediscovered and bath time will be the same again! See Oxfam website for delivery information
