Oxfam Bookshop Taunton Published in 1891, this very rare and valuable book follows on the original Dictionary of London. It's purpose at the time of publication was to serve as a guide to the numerous strangers who visit the principal places along the bank of the Thames. It also captures the port of London and it's trade. It is described as an 'Unconventional Handbook' and comes with maps. The book is presented as shown on the photos. There is both shelfwear and bumping to the edges of the cover. There is staining to the front cover and the spine is faded. The pages are intact and the binding is in a good state.
