Oxfam Bookshop Taunton A rare and valuable collector's item. This is a book that once belonged to Ronald Searle, it contains his signature from July 1947 on the inside front page. The twenty paintings chosen for inclusion are a cross section of english paintings. In grey pictorial hardcover with grey cloth back. No dust jacket. Illustrated in colour. 64 pages. There is a small handwritten dedication on the inside front page including signature of Ronald Searle. Ronald William Fordham Searle, CBE, RDI (3 March 1920 – 30 December 2011[1]) was an English artist and satirical cartoonist. He is perhaps best remembered as the creator of St Trinian's School and for his collaboration with Geoffrey Willans on the Molesworth series. There is bumping and slight scuffing to the front and back covers and the covers show shelf-wear. The pages are very clean and the binding is tight. See Oxfam website for delivery information
