Its horological interests were aroused by discovering the role that Christiaan Huygens played in the origin of French and English pendulum clocks. After the publication of three articles in the magazine Antiquarian Horology in 1979, he published the book “Spring-driven Dutch pendulum clocks 1657-1710”.
