Oxfam Shop Broadstone Subtitle reads: with forty-seven illustrations by Frederick Barnard, J.D. Linton, W. Small, etc., engraved by Dalziel Brothers and an introductory notice of the author by Rev. William Landels, D.D. Christian allegory originally published in 1678. There is no publication date stated but inscription suggests a publication date of 1905 or before. Pagination: 415 pages plus 32-page publisher's catalogue at rear. Very good condition for a book of this considerable age: very light bumping to cover corners and spine ends, light bowing to front cover along fore edge; title page bottom corner is chipped, small top-corner creases to pages 321 to 336; light foxing to pastedown endpapers, prize inscription dated Jan 17 1905 to front free endpaper, dealer stamp to bottom of title page, page edges and endpapers are tanned, text and illustrations remain clear throughout.
