This is a collection of 7 sheets of stamps issued in Great Britain and Tuvalu. The stamps are in very good condition as they are carefully protected with clear, see through cellophane covers. The oldest of the sheets of stamps were issued in 1979. The newest of the sheets of stamps were issued in 1989. One of the sheets of stamps from Tuvalu are a full set of specimen stamps showing Cowry shells. The Cowry shells shown on the stamps are the Cypraea aurantium, Cypraea scurra, Cypraea carneola, and Cypraea argus. The other sheet of stamps that were issued in Tuvalu and are also specimen stamps show the butterflies. The butterflies shown on the stamps are the Hypolimnas bolina elliciana, and the Junonia vallida butterflies. There is a sheet of stamps from Great Britain which is a complete set. Its the Butterflies and is the Post Office First Day Cover and First Day of Issue. The stamps were issued in 1981. The pictures on the stamps show the small Tortoiseshell butterfly, the large blue butterfly, the Peacock butterfly, and the Chequered Skipper butterfly. Another sheet of stamps that were issued in Great Britain are the Insects First Day Cover and First Day of Issue. The pictures on the stamps show the Buff Tailed Bumble Bee, the Seven Spotted Ladybird, the Stag Beetle, the Emperor Dragonfly, and the Wart-biter Bush -Cricket.
