In good overall condition for its age, the book suffers from some scuffs and stains to the boards and spine. There is evidence of light foxing, and there is a missing endpaper as pictured. Has also been inscribed with former owner's name and address. The pages, whilst yellowed with age, are generally clean and text unmarred. Binding is sound. Undated but believed to be a first edition.
