The Picturegoer is a collation of early British movie magazines published monthly from January to May 1931 and thereafter on a weekly basis to 26 December 1931. It contains screen critiques, many black & white photos of movie stars together adverts for fashionable products and services that were on offer at the time.
The book comes as presented without a dust jacket. There is shelf wear, bumping to the edges of the cover, the binding is lose but is sufficient to maintain the integrity of the book. There is a slight bowing and fading of the cover and chipping. There is creasing to the first few pages and open tears on a couple of the pages. There is foxing throughout. The book can be described to be in a fair condition.
There is an inscription on the inside front page (see photo)
