This book, written in Spanish, is a look at the works of Carlos Monsivais (1938-2010), a Mexican critic, political activist, writer and journalist. Considered a leading intellectual of his time, Monsiváis documented contemporary Mexican themes, values, class struggles, and societal change in his essays, books and opinion pieces. This book looks at his work and allows his fellow critics to give their opinions on his pieces, a sample of how the most critical of our writers is perceived, in turn, by the eyes of critics. The book is paperback and is in fairly good condition. The cover has only minor signs of wear mostly along the edges and corners of the covers. Internally the book has clean pages, strong binding and no rips or tears.
