Su Tu Sai was happily living with her family until a flood swept them away from their home and left them stranded on a leaky old houseboat on the Yangtsekiang. That night, Su Tu Sai rescued a baby, whom she named Tu Ku. Together, they have many adventures, and are finally swept into a war, which they cannot understand.
On the front end paper is written: 'Clarendon Press Xmas Party, 1975'.
Complete with price-clipped dust jacket which is covered with a plastic sleeve. Some fading to the edges of the boards and there are foxing spots on the cut edges of the pages. Nonetheless is in a good clean condition throughout with a sound binding.
