A book discussing the cottage hospital, a kind of hospital typically found in rural areas and used for lower-income patients in situations where a general practitioner is inappropriate but going to an urban area would be too expensive or take too long for their needs. The book discusses and stresses their importance and the risks associated with them disappearance. However, it also talks about the 'revival' of the same idea - the appearance of the community hospital, hospitals intended to fill the same vital niche.
This book is in very good condition, almost like new aside from slightly bent corners.
