Published in 1976 by Shanghai People's Publishing House.

Produced by the Institute of Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology, Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, this is a serious study of different types of Karsts that exist in China. Karst is a topography formed from the dissolution of soluble rocks such as limestone, dolomite, and gypsum. It is characterised by underground drainage systems with sinkholes and caves. The book is packed with photographs, many in full colour, together with some explanatory text.

Complete with unclipped dust jacket, which does have a couple of 5cm tears near the front spine. The boards are clean with little sign of wear and the pages are also clean. The binding is sound.
