Oxfam Bookshop Brigg
The Gibraltar Point nature reserve was created in 1948, this booklet is the report on the first year of operation. The forewords and introduction provide background information, the Bird Report includes notes on breeding species and different aspects of migration. Birds recorded are listed, plus butterflies, there is also a survey of vegetation. Although the paper covers have areas of dust discolouration and the binding staples are rusted due to age, the inside pages are clean, all text is clear and the frontispiece is a b/w photograph of the Heligoland trap at the Point.
An item of particular interest to Lincolnshire naturalists.
