This 6-DVD box set looks at some of the greatest races, horses, jockeys and trainers to have been involved in horse racing, both flat and jump. Presenters on the DVDs include former jockey turned broadcaster John Francome, Clare Balding and Sir Peter O'Sullevan. John looks at races across the world both past and present, showing archive footage of famous flat horses before looking at jumps and the likes of Tony McCoy, the Cheltenham Festival and the Grand National. Clare looks at some of the greatest races on the flat and jump as far back as 1938 and the famous Sea Biscuit, before looking at famous horses such as Nijinsky, Mill Reef, Desert Orchid, Numbersixvalverde and the infamous Devon Loch. Sir Peter takes an in-depth look at the 12 greatest Grand Nationals ever run, including the races of Red Rum, Corbiere and Amberleigh House, with interviews and paddock shots. Finally, an intimate profile of the legendary trainer Jim Bolger, considered one of Ireland's greatest trainers and breeders of thoroughbred racehorses.
The DVD box is in good condition, with the plastic wrapping still intact and secure. Since the box has not been opened, the DVD are considered to be completely new, with no scratches or blemishes.
