Quarter-bound. Red marbled paper-covered boards with black leather corners and spine. Various scuffs, marks and discolouration to boards and quarters. Gilt text to banded spine. Wear to external hinges and top and bottom edges of spine, and bottom edges of boards. Endpapers discoloured. Woven head and tail bands. Foxing to edges of text block, first and last few leaves, and sporadically within (mainly to illustrative pages). Tanning to text block.
