A lovely period edition often reprinted (first published in 1685 in Cologne) describing the (military) life of Henri de Latour d'Auvergne, viscount of Turenne (1611 - 1675), a famous French marshal. M. du Buisson was, according to the title, "first captain and major of the Verdelin regiment".

Binding in good condition, work in its period brown full calfskin binding, covers and spine in good condition, rare friction, pigmented red edges, a small snag on one crown, adorned ribbed spine, gilded titling and volume number.
