The Sauber C15 was the single-seater built by Sauber to take part in the 1996 Formula One World Championship.
Heinz-Harald Frentzen was confirmed as the first driver, while the second car was assigned to Johnny Herbert.
The design of the car was directed by Leo Ress in collaboration with aerodynamics expert René Hilhorst.
After good results in 1995 with the Ford ECA Zetec-R V8 engine, in 1996 Sauber switched to the JD Zetec-R V10 engine. Sauber finished the 1996 World Constructors’ Championship in seventh place, with 11 total points.
