The online retail community, Preloved has joined forces with Trustap, an online transaction platform, to enable safer purchases for its customers. 

Due to the impact of lockdown on retail sales, there has been a subsequent spotlight on the security of payment portals online. In response, Preloved has teamed up with Trustap to reassure its ten million users that their money and products are safe.  

Powered by the most secure payment processing system, Stripe, the new process will require both the seller and buyer to agree on all details of their transaction, including the price, prior to trade. The buyer will then submit their payment via Trustap, which will hold the funds until the item has been received; an ‘escrow-like’ exchange.  

The portal allows for tracking of the package and round the clock customer service, to protect both parties involved in the purchase, combining payment and delivery into one efficient and transparent service for Preloved users, on a global scale.
