Antique mahogany dining table in solid wood, 100 years old, from the late-Victorian period. The table is in fine vintage condition, free from woodworm and in very useable condition. The oval top has a fabulous 'pie crust' carved edge. The wind out mechanism extends the table from 120.5cm to 150.5cm. This is achieved by the insertion of the additional leaf which measures 30x105 cm. The top stands on a base with four large cabriolet legs, beautifully carved on floral motive, with 'ball and claw' feet standing on brass casters. The top is solid mahogany, as is the whole table. It has some light marks but a lot of character and certainly makes a statement. The table stands 75cm high and it comes with a period wind handle.
