William Alwyn's "Derby Day" is played by the London Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by the composer himself, Francis Chagrin's "Helter Skelter" and Alan Rawsthorne's "Street Corner" by the London Philharmonic conducted by John Pritchard. Malcolm Arnold's "Beckus the Dandipratt" by the London Philharmonic conducted by Nicholas Braithwaite, Walter Leigh's "Agincourt" by the New Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Nicholas Braithwaite and Geoffrey Bush's "Yorick" by the New Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Vernon Handley.
