INTERIOR HEADLINING GREY FABRIC HAS RECENTLY DROPPED IN THE REAR (CHEAP AND EASY FIX).

BRAND NEW OEM PLASTIC THERMOSTAT HOUSING HAS JUST BEEN FITTED. IT HAS BEEN SEALED WITH A HIGH QUALITY HIGH TEMPERATURE LIQUID TYPE GASKET. THE ORIGINAL WAS LETTING A LITTLE BIT OF WATER OUT ON TO THE OLD RUBBER BELTS DUE TO AGE AND TEMPERATURE DIFFERENCES ETC.

I HAVE OWNED IT FOR 10 YEARS. IT HAS NOT BEEN USED FOR 8 YEARS.

CERTAINLY NOT A SHOW WINNER BUT STILL A GOOD, SOLID, GENUINE, UN-ABUSED, MODERN LUXURY CLASSIC CAR WHICH IS NOW QUITE RARE IN 2018.

THIS ONE COST £60,000 UPWARDS WHEN IT WAS NEW. YOU CAN UNDERSTAND WHY TOO. THESE E38'S WERE MILES AHEAD OF THEIR RIVALS SUCH AS MERCEDES, JAGUAR, AUDI, LEXUS ETC. THE BUILD QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE IS FAR MORE MODERN AND SUPERIOR. THEY WERE ACTUALLY GIVING BENTLEY SOMETHING TO WORRY ABOUT AT THE TIME BECAUSE THE 740IL WAS FASTER, LIGHTER, CHEAPER TO BUY, WELL MADE, CLEVER, MORE MODERN AND LOOKED AWESOME. THEY ALSO HAVE VERY GOOD CRASH/SAFETY RATINGS.

I HAVE OBVIOUSLY HAD SOME INTEREST FROM PEOPLE, REASONABLE OFFERS AND POSITIVE VIEWINGS ALREADY SO BE QUICK. PLEASE REMEMBER WHEN MAKING AN OFFER THAT THIS IS NOT SOME OLD QUICKLY AND CHEAPLY MADE FAUX EXECUTIVE CAR FROM THE UK, KOREA OR FRANCE. IT DESERVES A FAIR PRICE.

THE PRICE OF AN E38 HAS INCREASED SLOWLY IN THE LAST FEW YEARS. IT WILL ONLY INCREASE AS THE YEARS GO BY.
