Advert Description
Bridesmaid's dress worn just once in 1969 prior to this photo shoot. Salmon pink-orange - a lovely colour for autumn. Not sure if fabric is brocade but has pattern in the fabric, as can be seen from the photo. To fit someone tall and slim. Guessing size 12, but not sure. Under-bust is 30 inches. Length from back neckline is 58 inches.
Lace trim just above hem and on bell sleeves is 5.5 inches. Lace has suffered from sunshine in two or three places but I think could be repaired. Dress has been hanging neglected in cupboard for 53 years - needs pressing, of course.
OR the fabric, etc, could be re-used if the1960s style doesn't suit.
See other ad in same category for the accessories (included in price).
All proceeds to RNLI, being family-supported charity due to WW2 naval service.
To collect from Rugby, Warwickshire, or nearby so you can be sure what the dress, etc, are like.
