Selling the last few of these magnificent large white breeding pairs (Drake & Duck 13 - 23 weeks approx).
Crossing the two breeds have given me the best from both. Laying very large eggs virtually every day and a table bird.
Their parent ducks have, in a year, given me over 320 very large eggs each, to which I have had 100% fertility rate, hatched 56/62 90% hatching rate.
By crossbreeding, these birds have wonderful white sheen feathers of the White Campbell, with an air of elegance of the Campbells 'Runner' in them, whilst their Aylesbury grandeur finishes off their stunning looks. Once these develop into large fine birds they are very productive, this in eggs and / or in size.
The ducks are daily fed quality layers & on their ponds - plenty of Niacin via shredded greens (a selection of lettuce or foraged plants & leaves etc. see photo) & often added treats of Banana & Tomato, they are thoroughly spoilt. Eggs should contain the important Vitamin K - producing healthy birds.
