The Preloved team didn’t let the wet weather dampen spirits earlier this month! A few of us headed out with our pawsome pooches to celebrate National Pet Day with a good old stretch of the legs at one of our local beauty spots, Cheshire’s Marbury Park.
With umbrellas and plenty of poop bags at the ready, we enjoyed a stroll and chat through ancient woodland while our canine companions enjoyed a run through the wet grass, watching the occasional squirrel darting across our path.
We were joined on our adventure by some of the smaller members of the team; Preloved pooches Bailey and Toby, our resident Shih Tzus, Kylo the Pomeranian, Pomchi Loki, and Molly the adorable Puggle. Some of them had met up before and were already firm friends. For others meeting for the first time, a quick sniff of the butt to say Hi, and off we all went!
We’re lucky to all live so close to the stunning park at Marbury, just a 10 minute drive from Preloved’s Northwich office. There’s something for everyone there, a dog agility arena, an outdoor swimming pool, stunning lakes, and plenty of woodland for the dogs to explore.
It’s quite common to see horses out on a hack, fields of sheep and cattle, wildlife down by the lake and bird-watching huts, and safe streams for everyone to paddle through (a firm favourite with the dogs!). On a drizzly cold day like this though, the resident coffee cart was a delight to see!
As well as being a great opportunity to connect with nature, it’s always a delight to spend time with workmates away from desks, and seeing them with their adorable and very well=behaved four-legged friends is always a pleasure!
