How to Make Your Own Festive Bottle
This year, instead of splashing out on wasteful expensive decorations this year, why not have a go at crafting some homemade Christmas decorations?
Through this year's Preloved advent calendar, we'll be sharing some quick and easy crafts you can have a crack at this year. Plus, they'll all be using recycled materials to help you reduce your waste double-time this Christmas!
we've got this super cute and easy festive bottle! Got some used wine bottles lying around this Christmas why not put them to good use?
What you'll need:
- Empty, clean, dry wine bottles
- Paint (white, red, green)
- To decorate: Buttons, fabric for a scarf
- Glue
Step 1
Paint your entire bottle white to create your snowman's body.
Step 2
Cut your red fabric to create a thin strip for the scarf.
Step 3
Glue your fabric around the neck of the bottle and cross over at the front.
Step 4
Glue three black buttons to the front of your snowman to finish the bottle!
And you're done, your very own snowflake! Why not make a variety of designs and put together a little display? Quick and easy, and a great way of getting rid of some leftover waste at home!
