PERSONAL DRESS MAKING & PATTERN MAKING
Do you want a PERSONAL dress for a special occasion at a good price?
With this hourly you will get a drawing of your design (front and back included). This hourly includes the drawing of a simple garment (4-5 pieces in total) drawn in front and back with three colour combinations maximum. Please contact me if your design has additional details or complexity, this are available at £15 per hour.
I have worked for fashion designers including Alexander McQueen & BooHoo & I have exhibited their work at the London Fashion Week, and for Manchester and London based companies and manufacturers making samples for companies such as New Look, Penneys, Tesco, between others.
I have been educated in some of the best UK fashion institutions including Central Saint Martins and the London College of Fashion. I’m an ambitious person, with more than ten years of experience in several fashion industry roles, qualified to realize accurate and innovative patterns and designs. I am a proactive individual with management experience, highly competent in hand drawing, CAD, and Optitex.
I have often been described as meticulous and innovative and very competent in creating patterns from sketches or photographs, able to execute modelling, grading techniques, to work with stretch fabric and capable to create CAD technical fashion illustration.
I have a good knowledge of the British and International Standards and of some of the latest technology on the industry, as I have been introduced to the Body Scanner, V-Stitcher, Gerber Accumark and PDM Systems, by Manchester Metropolitan University, on the BA HONS International Fashion Practice.
With ten years of customer service experience on fashion retail, and having managed a boutique I consider myself honest, reliable, and mature person, able to achieve goals and meet targets.
I am fluent in English, Spanish and an intermediate Italian speaker and would be delighted to provide a service that suits you.
