Advert Description
Large oil Painting By Deleval, this is oil on board and is a study of a harbour scene possibly Seahouses on the Northumberland coast. The painting is approxiamately 3 feet wide by 2 feet high and a couple of inches deep and is in 3 colours, yellow,black and white and shows the harbour at low tide with several boats in the foreground in the sand, and the harbour wall being the main feature. If this was painted by one of the Deleval family from Seaton Deleval Hall it might be of some significance as there is good deal of history around this family.
