70 year old Oil painting of a Market Scene by listed artist

This is 2' wide by 2' 6" high, and it is an oil on canvas showing a market scene, it is in a very nice style and very well done but I am afraid I know nothing about it or the artist.
It has been photographed in poor light, and the painting would benefit greatly from a light clean as it is a really colourful scene. Read more
