The Art of CHOKIN small 24k gold edged plate

These small plates - one having a couple of Peacocks on flowering branches,
the other has leaves and a couple of flowers with a humming bird visiting them in mid area.
EACH has 3 gold bands radiating from the centre.
UNDERNEATH both: THE ART OF CHOKIN
The images are created by etching pure copper and then gilding it with SILVER and GOLD. The engravings were originally created to decorate the armament of the Sumurai warriors.
This art form was handed down for over eight hundred years.
