3/4 size Violin ascribed to Mathias Neuner Mittenwald. The table of fine to medium grain spruce on treble side, medium to broader grain on bass side,the two piece back and ribs of lightly figured maple,the one piece neck and scroll of plain maple, typical blood red varnish over yellow ground. No cracks at all,in very good cared for condition,wear comensurate with age. LOB 338mm (excluding button at neck joint) total length 56cm (excluding bottom button) string length 312mm printed label reads Mathias Neuner, Geigenma- cher in Mittenwald. 1824 (the 24 in ink) Nro.94.
