A first edition print of The Prince With Many Castles by Sarah Churchill with illustrations by Eric Critchley, publisher Leslie Frewin 1967. This is a hardback with dust cover. The inner hardback book is in almost perfect condition, completely free from rips, tears, creases, folds or marks and with bright and colourful illustrations (some B/W, others colour). There is a name written on the inside first page which is fortunately black and so is almost undetectable. The binding is tight and the spine is perfect. The dust cover is in fairly good condition with some small creases and tears at the edges. Some handwriting and drawing imprints are visible if the light catches them but there is no actual drawing or writing on the cover. There is almost no fading.
The book comprises three separate stories: the Prince with many Castles, the Ivory Tower and the Boy Who Made Magic. I read them to my own two children when they were young and they were enthralled.
