Wooden carved ornament

This is a very interesting piece of work, beautifully carved from one piece of wood. It depicts 2 birds and flowers and leaves. A truly beautifully crafted item. 7 3/4" square back 1 1/2" deep. The bottom bird does have a piece missing off it's leg but it does blend in so not noticeable, if you zoom in on the picture you will see - or not!! It is old but I have no idea just how old.
