A very old Singer Electric Sewing m/c, set into a leaftop cabinet on top of an antique Singer Cast Iron Treadle. I do not know exactly how old all the parts are, but we have had it 46 years. In its early years with us, it was serviced regularly, as it was well used with the wife, making clothes for herself & the 3 children. Since moving here to Cornwall its been sat here in the living room, unused, It is now time for it to go, we are getting on in years & will not be using it any more, it needs a good home to go to, with it being put to good use. We have over the years made sure it still worked, with just testing it this week. As you can see in one of the photos, it needs a bit of tender care parts of the wood veneer need replacing, then a good couple of coats of varnish applied, with the treadle frame painted black, This would really smarten it up to your taste and then putting it to good use. A tool like this really needs using, sitting here doing nothing, does it no good.

If you are interested in buying, then send a couple of strong lads over, it's heavy, to much for me now, to lift up the garden path, with half a dozen steps to the car park.
