Calling all “E & S” or “S & E” couples! We are selling our large light up white and copper coloured “E”, “&” and “S” freestanding letters that we made for our wedding day. These are of a sturdy construction made with the help from the brides father who is a professional carpenter by trade and the lights were fitted by the grooms brother who is a professional electrician. The light up letters are made from approx. 10mm thick MDF, painted white on the borders and outside and painted copper in the middle (can be painted over if you so wish). They are all fitted with standard incandescent bulbs which are powered by mains with a dimmer attached to set the bulbs brightness. For the best effect we dimmed the bulbs right down so that you could see the filaments.
The “E” and “S” letters stand approximately 1 metre tall, the “&” is slightly shorter at approximately 0.83 metres tall and they are all around 20cm deep. These letters work amazingly as a backdrop to your first dance or to have in front of your band/DJ area, but they would also work elsewhere in the wedding venue as a stand out feature. Although they were wired up and constructed professionally, we would not recommend the use these letters outdoors if there is a chance of rain, as the electrics are not waterproof and the MDF would soon warp.
