Advert Description

True Vintage 1930s bias cut lace (of a delicate floral design) and rayon satin dress. The garment has a scoop neck, which has been beautifully piped, edged in satin.
It has long sleeves which have also been piped in satin on the cuffs and on all seam work, wonderfully tailored. The garment has side snaps. It is a perfect example of 1930's bridal clothing from this era. The condition is fair. It could be worn at a vintage wedding event with a little restorative work, or as themed 1930's costume, is perfect for collectors or antique period clothing buyers, for costume designers, as studio prop or alternatively for displaying as a vintage clothing piece or for a project. The garment has no labels, there are some scattered breaks in the lace and very minimal discolouration for its age. The side seam appears to have been taken in a little.
Please view various photos displayed [See the montage on photo 3].
The measurements taken were whilst dress was laid flat (or) doubled where appropriate. Although the lace is cut on the bias, the satin is not so it does not have the usual bias stretch. Please allow for this with ease of movement.
