2 x wooden vintage clothes/coat hangers advertising Dereta of London. Happy to post.

Good used condition.

ONLY £5 each or £8 ovno for both.

Stylish hangers for display or setting off vintage clothes.

Approx 16" wide and 71/2" deep from top of metal loop to base of 'dereta' wood.

Dereta became popular in the early 1950s for its quality, ready-to-wear clothes which were appearing in department stores and boutiques in the UK, and was given the stamp of approval by Vogue magazine.

Unfortunately there is some slight wear/damage to these coat hangers: in some areas the shaped wooden layers have slightly come apart (see photo). There is also some light rust to the metal.
