INTAGE 1960 Silhouette Wiggle Dress with a gold ornate buckle and sash detailing.
No labels.
It has fastening attachments with press stud to secure bra straps inside the garment.
The fabric is matt satin with a grain effect as a chocolate brown base colour with wonderful floral patterns of bright orange yellow gold and green. The dress has capped sleeves, a round scoop neck and has a silver zip fastener and hook and eye all fully functional.
There is a central split at the back of garment measuring: 8 inches for movement. The dress is an exceptional piece, in immaculate condition.
There is beautiful detailing at the front with a twin pinch pleated ruche effect above the buckle, a very flattering style. The buckle is embossed and gold in colour, the material unknown. It is tailored in a silhouette style for an hour glass figure, made to measure fit.
There is a centre zip and hook and eye fastener at the back.
The dress is an iconic garment of this era. Measurements: Length: 37.5 inches. (It has a 1 inch hem allowance for lengthening if required). It fits a size 12 manikin.
Chest measurement: 34 inch. Waist: 29 inches. Excellent quality & condition.
