Antique Victorian Brass & Glass Shaded Gas Wall Light

An eye catching attractive Victorian brass and glass shaded gas wall light applique, circa 1875, purchased from Dreweatts Auction House a few years ago.
The stem is cast as a fish-tailed gryphon emerging from the tap fitting and the circular backplate with further mouldings which has been refitted for electricity. Later green glass shade.
33cm high overall.
40 cm protrudence overall.

I love this and the only reason I am selling is because I have downsized and, regrettably, it doesn't fit in my new home.
