Very old very collectable Christy's hat box oval

This was my Grandads, it's very old and very collectable Christy's hat box. Lots of patina very splendid despite of it''s years and a wonderful decorative piece. knocks and dimples add to it's charm. Oval shape 13 1/2" back to front 12" across 13" high.
These were seen on Drew Pritchard's programme a short while ago, the one's I saw didn't appear as good as this one!
Unsure of it's actual era. The hat that was within had a piece of news paper in the brim 1935. Read more
