This is a LOUIS XV style gilt bronze mounted tulipwood petite bureau plat and matching Armchair / 20th century.
A guilt mounted kingwood and tulipwood desk with rectangular leather-lined top whitin a veneered and gilt bronze border,
above 3 drawers on the each side set in serpentine shaped frieze on cabriole legs,the whole mounted with rocaille,leaf and flower cast mounts.
The bureau plat with scalloped top with green leather inset writing surface above three frieze drawers,the reverse with false drawers,the sides centered by floral and foliate mounts,raised on cabriole legs mounted with gilt bronze mask form espagnolettes leading to gilt bronze.
This desk comes with key and original locks.
All using years it had a protection glass, so top is looking like new.
The piece comes with a matching armchair, which has the same excellent condition.
This Bureau Plat is in excellent condition and very well kept .
