Advert Description

Oil painting of horses bought in the West End of London a long time ago. When it was cleaned decades later, it revealed a second head of the black horse, so a bit of an oddity as you can currently see both heads, but its a very attractive painting. It used to have a gold frame that disintegrated and was discarded years ago and the painting was hanging on the wall of an old house for decades and looked good because it looked modest without the gold frame that came with it originally.
Dimensions: 67cm x 54cm
Signed: M. E. Brady
The first two digits of the date, 18 are clear, but the second two have been partially degraded but seem to be 20, so maybe the date on the painting is 1820 if it wasn't actually painted later, I have no idea.
Whatever, it looks nice, however unusual.
