The photos above are from the original programme, which has been sold, although the scans are scanned from the programme in colour.

This performance received excellent reviews both for the ballet performance and the sets which were extremely colourful and exotic.
There were Spanish town scenes and in Act II a wood scene of Walt Disney style trees with windmills that moved.
At the end there was a large one that came on stage. The costumes were also very rich and exuberant.
The orchestral playing by the Royal Opera House orchestra was excellent, conducted by Martin Yates, along with the dancing, including Gary Avis as Don Quixote, Mayara Magri as Kitra, Jonathan Howells as Sancho Panza, Bennet Gartside as Lorenzo the Innkeeper.
