The photos above are from the original programme, which has been sold, although the scans are scanned from the programme in colour.
The costumes were excellent, and set in the late 19th Century, along with the traditional colourful Japanese costumes, expecially for Elena Dee as Cio-Cio San.
Lt. Pinkerton wore a white naval uniform.
The set consisted of a Japanese garden and traditional house with a sliding door, and had running water fountains at each side.
The orchestral playing by the Ukrainian National Opera orchestra conducted by Nicholea Dohotaru was excellent, along with the singing with Elena Dee as Cio-Cio San, Myrslave Shvakh-Pekar as Suzuki, Georgio Meadze as Lt. Pinkerton, Maria Tonina as Kate Pinkerton and Vitalii Cebotari as the Commissioner.
