The appliance looks great in finger friendly stainless steel, with dark glass, and works even better through its eight different functions.
Four of these options are for gas cooking, with another quartet of options serving grilling. The heating elements are powered by gas, with electric for the fan.
This fan takes the heat produced and blows hot air all around the cavity, with even distribution to any of the four levels.
A rotisserie kit is included that enables spit roasting, which turns the food attached while the burner works from below. This can also be used with the fan or grill.
The gas burner alone is best used for dishes by a higher temperature at their base, such as when pizzas, pies and casseroles need crisping or cooking from the base up.
Conversely, the grill element comes from above and is ideal for meats of thin and medium size such as bacon and sausages when acting as a standalone process.
The fan-assisted version softens the heat to slow cook larger joints, which is perfect for bigger items such as a large chicken, turkey or shin of pork.
Grilling can be performed with the door open or closed, through a solid handle that accesses the cavity, which has a 60-litre capacity.
An electronic presence can additionally be called upon for automatic ignition, which comes into force whenever the control dials are turned.
One is for the features, another allows for manual adjustments to the temperature, between 150 to 260 degrees, and the third is a timer, from five to 90 minutes.
