Vintage 1950's/60's Black Padded Laundry Basket

This beautiful laundry basket is in good condition for its age apart from the chains which hold the lid open, these were the type which you find on a sink plug so were not strong enough to withhold the weight of the lid.

Unfortunately these have snapped so I've removed them, but you can easily replace them with something different or a stronger chain if preferred.

It is approximately 19" high x 16" wide x 12" deep (Front to back) and lined with a white plastic material which can be easily sponged down.

The seat is padded, with 4 plastic feet to raise it off the ground.
