Advert Description
Built to wartime “Utility” standard, ie no frills or elaborate styling, the actual vehicle this represents was delivered in 1945: just after the war ended.
Bodied by Massey Brothers of Wigan, 222 was modified in the early 1950s with the addition of an offset route number box and wooden seats replacement.
Having only a 5 cylinder Gardner engine, it was not fond of hills when fully loaded and in later life it was relegated to rush hour and works duties before a last trip to the scrapyard after 19 years reliable service.
It's in 1:76 scale and never been out of its box (see photos of a specimen).
Protective packaging and RECEIPTED postage just £3.49 OR collect from Old Hall, Warrington (near Gulliver's World)
