Unused, as new. Sofa frame & futon not included – this is just futon cover. Asking price recently lowered to speed sale, as lack storage space after recent house-move and need to ‘cull’ unused items.
Very sturdy, densely woven cotton futon cover from Futon Company, for a futon that fits a 3-seater sleeper-sofa. ‘Oatmeal’ colour; not monotone but mix of subtle lighter and darker shades woven together. Machine-washable at 40° C.
Excellent-quality fabric – possibly may suit creative person who can turn into something else if not needed as futon cover. PLEASE NOTE: Though it may be workable for other types of futon, this cover was made for a ‘bi-fold’ style of futon. In this case ‘bi-fold’ means that instead of futon just bending in middle to cover both the seat and the back of frame when sleeper-sofa is in sofa position, it consists of two separate halves, joined by a band of fabric so that one half can stack directly on top of the other half to form the seat of the sofa, while the back of the sofa is covered by 3 separate back-cushions.
Therefore, the futon cover is sort of ‘gusseted’, to allow the two halves of the bi-fold futon to stack on top of each other. The covers for 3 back-cushions are also included in price. Original price for the futon cover plus + 3 cushion covers was £130. Please email for a document of further, detailed photos that better illustrate futon cover and the type of futon it is made for. Again, this cover might work for standard, non-bi-fold futon but this can’t be guaranteed, as depends on the particular futon.
