Pair of lovely horses to be rehomed together. These horses are NOT available individually. Sorry, no exceptions.
We ONLY rehome within the Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire area.
Suitable as companions. Willie would be Ok for light hacking but his wife would need to accompany him!
Willie 15.3 (24years) and Holly 15.2 (22 years) enjoy living in a small herd and need to live together as they are strongly bonded.
They need a field size of a minimum of 6 acres and to live with other horses.
They both live out 24/7 all year and this lifestyle suits them well and keeps them mobile. They don't mind coming in together for an hour or two occasionally.
Holly is arthritic sometimes but can occasionally be ridden lightly.
Willie has been out of ridden work for a couple of years, he would need slowly reintroducing to riding and his fitness building up. He is very good natured and obliging, but has to be asked politely to do things, not told, and would not tolerate being pushed and pulled about and requires an easy going, balanced, confident and sensitive rider. Maximum rider weight 10 stone.
Both horses are good in traffic and to trim, rug up etc. Both can be bargy on the ground when stressed so need to go to a home with plenty of experience and who will listen to them.
