1926 Vintage Wind-up Clockwork Butterfly

A 1926 vintage wind-up clockwork butterfly in surprisingly good condition considering its age.
The body is tin with nominal signs of rust;
the wings are plastic in vibrant marbled colours (one tail wing tip is creased);
the rubber window sucker is, not unexpectedly, showing signs of being on the verge of perishing.
It still has its key !
and it works !
The wings flap and the body turns on its pivot.
The body length measures 7cm and the wingspan 14.5cm at its widest. Read more
