Advert Description

An Unusual Trench Art Bullet Tray.
I suspect it's likely to be WW2 but it could be earlier,so please do your own research.
All the shells are all safe & empty of their contents, as are the bullet heads.
They are round nosed & look to be stamped "R.W.S. - N M88 - 8mm"
Someone did mention Mauser but please do your own research.
The bullets are silver coloured plated & you can see where the copper or base metal is showing through due to age.
The shell cases & the tray are brass.
In expected used condition for an item of this nature. I suspect it's had more recent repairs over the years but prior to me owning it. One bullet shell requires resoldering. One head is also missing.
I believe you are likely to find a replacement at an antique or military fair.
The vertical bullets are approx 3 1/4" long. It's large at just under 10" in diam. It would look great polished up.
Please study the images, as they also form part of the description & please do your own research.
Can post at extra cost. Postage includes being signed for.
